Activating a New Location (for existing OpenEdge users)

These instructions are for if you are already set up with the Nexsyis - Open Edge integration and would like to activate a new location:

1. Contact OpenEdge Technical support to order hardware and request the Auth Keys for the new location

 

Specifically, the following information is needed: 

For Canadian users, we will also need the Serial Number, i.e. FP03617000000000

Where can I find the Serial Number?

1. If the terminal is already connected and the location enabled for Global, you will see it in the bottom-left blue bar of the Nexsyis application. It will say OE Device Serial #:

2. It should be on the form that is inside the box with the POS

3. It is also on the bottom of the terminal in the upper right corner. The characters/numbers below the second barcode are two parts. The serial number is the second part. For example, the barcode reads: PP219302 – FP036283 and the serial number is: FP036283

 

2. Submit a support ticket to Nexsupport@nexsyis.com requesting the integration activation with the location name, X-Web ID, Terminal ID, Auth Key, and Serial # (if Canada). 

3. Nexsyis will enter these into your system under Setup/Accounting/Accounts Receivable/Merchant Account Details
