Customer Messaging Template Setup in NexsyisNow

Customer messaging templates can be set up and managed from the Settings page in NexsyisNow. This page lets you create automated messages triggered by workflows in Nexsyis/NexsyisNow—such as appointment reminders, repair stage updates, and e-Document set notifications.

 

To access this setup page, navigate to Settings > Messaging Templates to view the message template categories:

 

 

A checkbox in the Completed column for an event signifies that a template has been completed and is actively being used. Selecting the pencil icon opens the Edit Template page where templates can be created, updated, or cleared as needed (seen below):

 

 

  1. The template type/event currently being edited will display its code as a label on the Edit Template screen.
  2. For certain template types, such as appointment reminder templates, there is the option to set up first and second reminder notifications to be sent out at different time periods after the initial notification is triggered.
  3. Fields can be inserted to customize the template - these fields adjust based on information tied to the folder, customer, shop, vehicle, estimate, etc. Expand the list and select to add to the template's message where needed.
  4. You have the option to add a link to the customer portal, online photo estimate page, or payment screen and enter text to display in place of the hyperlink.
  5. Select one of the Clear Notification options to clear the text from the email, text, or both sections.
