Lost Opportunity
If you will not be repairing a vehicle, you can mark it as a "Lost Opportunity". This will remove the Folder from the "Opportunities" tab of the Vehicle Center and Archive it. You can always reverse this later if the customer decides to repair.
From the Summary tab of the Folder, select the Lost Opportunity button:
Select “Yes” when prompted:
If there are no Estimates, Work Order, or PO activity on the Folder, the middle section will be blank. Simply select a Reason and click Save.
If there is activity, the system will display the count of active estimates, Work Order lines, and PO lines:
If you click “Yes” and Save, the Estimate will be made inactive and the Work Order deleted. If you've ordered any parts, they should be returned.
The Folder disposition will now show as a Lost Opportunity (if no activity, the Folder will also Archive).
