Rental Reservation Request (Hertz)

To activate the Hertz interface, please e-mail nexsupport@nexsyis.com 

Submit a Rental Reservation Request to Hertz

1. From the Nexsyis Folder Summary tab, click the Rental Req button

2. Select Hertz as the Rental Company and the requested rental date and time. Enter any special requests or notes. Click Save. 

The reservation request will be electronically submitted to Hertz. 

If you re-open the Request screen, you can see confirmation that the request was successfully sent: 

The Assigned Hertz Branch will Receive the Request

The assigned Hertz rental branch will receive the rental request and the customer contact information from the Folder. They will reach out to the customer to set up the rental.

Repair Information & Updates 

Nexsyis will send the following repair information to Hertz:

• Folder #
• Customer Name
• Customer Address
• Customer Phone
• Total Labor Hours
• Claim #
• Driveable or non-driveable 
• Vehicle Year, Make, Model, Color
• Arrival Date
• Target Date
• Repairs Completed Date
• Repair Status 

Nexsyis will send the following updates to Hertz 

• Repair Stage Changes 
• Target date changes (sent with reason for repair delay)
• 7 days without anything changing on the repair

This information will automatically be reflected in Hertz internal systems:

Direct Nexsyis Communication is complimentary to Hertz One usage

Shops utilizing Hertz One for electronic communication experience rental life reduction on average of one day or more shorter than is measured when Hertz One is not in use.  Hertz One provides scheduling upcoming rentals, self-serve reporting, visualization, automation of repair updates (reducing calls from Hertz) and more. 

The Nexsyis direct integration is complementary to Hertz One usage.  It reduces the need for entry of some information by automatically sending the info to Hertz.
