Sales Tax on a Nexsyis Estimate
Nexsyis now allows editing the sales tax rate directly on an Nexsyis Estimate when the service or delivery location differs from the Folder location (for example, mobile scanning or PDR repairs).

How to Override the Sales Tax Rate on an Estimate
- Select the desired Nexsyis Estimate line.
- The current location tax rate is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
- Click the Globe icon to look up or manually adjust the tax rate.

Tax Rate Lookup by Address
- A new screen will open displaying the customer’s address (assuming the repair was performed at that address). To do a lookup for the customer’s address, click the Search icon

- If the service was performed at a different location:
- Enter the correct address in the fields provided.
- Click the Search icon to perform a tax rate lookup.
- Note: This requires a subscription to Zip2Tax (contact Nexsyis for more information)
Manual Tax Rate Override
- If you do not have a Zip2Tax subscription:
- Check the Manual Override box.
- Enter the desired tax rate manually.

- When a tax rate is overridden, the field will highlight in yellow.

- You may click Reset at any time to restore the original location tax rate.
Final Result
- The adjusted tax rate is used to calculate sales tax.
- The updated rate will display on both the Estimate and the Invoice.
