Creating Tow Requests 

If a vehicle needs to be towed, you can submit a tow request in Nexsyis to be sent to the tow company. The tow company can respond and you can track the messages in your message center.

1. In the Customer Folder, under the Summary tab, click the Tow Request button.

 

If a Tow Request already exists then a (1) will show next to "Tow Req"

 

2. Select the Tow Company and fill in the information you would like the tow company to receive.

If you are texting or e-mailing the request directly to the driver, leave the "Send Request via text/e-mail" checkbox checked (Note: the Tow Company must be set up to receive texts or e-mails. See Tow Company Setup for instructions.  

 

3. To continue without scheduling an appointment, click Save. OR

4. If you would like to schedule a drop-off appointment for the tow-in, uncheck the box next to “Do not schedule Drop-off Appointment” and click Save. The Appointment screen will open, set the Drop appointment details, then Save.

 

Text/E-mail Tow Request

When you save the Tow Request, if "Send Request via text/e-mail" is checked, then it will text and/or e-mail the details of the Tow Request to the addresses set up under the Tow Company setup screen. Note: the checkbox will only show if the Tow Company selected is set up to receive text or e-mail.

Canceling a Tow Request

To cancel a tow request, open the Tow Request screen and check the "Cancel Tow Request" checkbox.

If the Tow Company is set up to communicate by text/e-mail, they will get a "Cancelled Tow Request" text or e-mail like shown: 

 

Printing Tow Requests

In the Folder, select the Print icon on the bottom button bar.

 

Select "Tow Request from the Folder Reports column, then click the Select/Process button at the bottom of the screen.

 

Click the Print icon, then select OK.
