Allow Camera Access 

Apple Devices - Safari browser

Android Devices - Chrome browser

Samsung Devices - Samsung browser

 

Note: if you are experiencing an issue where the camera will open but only shows a black screen, it is likely your camera is already being accessed by another open app or website. Try closing out of all open apps/ browser tabs and trying again. 

Apple Devices

Using the Safari browser is recommended on Apple Devices. Make sure that you are not in "Private" browsing mode. 

The first time you try to take a photo using NexsyisNow on your Apple Device, you will be prompted to allow NexsyisNow to access the Microphone and Camera. Respond with "Allow"

 

If you mistakenly click "Cancel", you will receive this message when you try to access the camera to take a photo: 

 

 

To be re-prompted to allow access, follow the steps below:

 

1. Open Settings > Safari

 

 

2. Select "Clear History and Website Data" 

 

 

3. Go back to NexsyisNow and select the photo capture. When prompted again, click "Allow" to allow access to microphone and camera

Android Devices 

Chrome Browser

The first time you try to take a photo using NexsyisNow on your Android Device, you will be prompted to allow NexsyisNow to access the Microphone and Camera. Respond with "Allow"

 

 

If you mistakenly click "Block", you will receive this message when you try to access the camera to take a photo: 

 

 

To be re-prompted to allow access, follow the steps below:

1. From within the Chrome browser, select the three dots menu at the top-right. Scroll to "Settings" and select

 

 

2. Scroll to "Privacy and security" and select

 

 

3. Select Clear browsing data

 

4. Select the "Advanced" tab. Make sure the last checkbox for "Site settings" is selected. Select "Clear data". 

 

 

5. Go back to NexsyisNow and select the photo capture. When prompted again, click "Allow" to allow access to microphone and camera

 

Samsung Browser

The first time you try to take a photo using NexsyisNow using the Samsung browser on your Samsung Device, you will be prompted to allow NexsyisNow to access the Microphone and Camera. Respond to each prompt with "Allow"

 

 

If you mistakenly click "Block", you will receive this message when you try to access the camera to take a photo: 

 

 

To be re-prompted to allow access, follow the steps below:

1. Click the three line menu at the top-right of the Samsung browser

 

 

2. Select Personal browsing data

 

 

3. Select Delete browsing data 

 

 

4. Select Delete data 

 

 

5. Select Delete

 

 

6. Go back to NexsyisNow and select the photo capture. When prompted again, click "Allow" on both prompts to allow access to microphone and camera
