Cycle Time

Cycle Time only includes folders designated as a Repair. It ignores Total Loss's, Lost Opportunities, etc.

A folder is designated as a Repair when a Work Order is created. Until a work order is generated it is not a repair.

Cycle Time Report

The Cycle Time screen can be opened from the Operations [Analytics] tab.

Select filter criteria at the top of the screen; Cycle Begin Date, Cycle End Date, and a Date Range must be selected.

Note: Cycle Time excludes Total Losses and Folders without a Work Order created (Dispositions of TOTAL and NONE).

Cycle Begin Date & Cycle End Date

Highlighted dates are standard Nexsyis dates. All dates in between are a company’s custom production statuses.

The date, “In Process Date”,  is determined behind the scenes in Nexsyis.  It represents the greatest of Arrival Date, Customer Authorization Date, and Insurance Authorization Date. This is based on the assumption that work cannot start on the vehicle until all three of those dates have been checked.

To determine the average cycle time this month for the “Body” stage, select the following.

Cycle Begin Date: Body

Cycle End Date: Paint

Period: This Month

Once all criteria have been selected, click the Refresh button.  A list of all vehicles that came through the shop in that time period and passed through those statuses will be loaded.

Cycle Time Report

The "Arrive To Start" on the Cycle Time Report (run from the Reports menu), depicts the CT from Arrival Date to the date the vehicle moved into the first stage after Arrival. This is a company-wide preference that can be changed upon request.
