GL Report Map

Overview

There are a handful of Reports in Nexsyis that rely on custom GL Report Mapping so that your unique Financial Categories can be mapped/grouped as you see fit on the report. The report description will let you know if you need to use the GL Report Mapping screen to set up the report.  For example:

Also, because your Financial Statements in Nexsyis are custom, it is likely that mapping will need to be done when any new Financial Categories are added. If you do not map new financial categories, you may notice that your Financial Statements are out of balance. 

Using the GL Report Map Screen

To access the GL Report Map screen, open Accounting / General Ledger / GL Report Map

Select the report you wish to map from the list

On the left side of the screen, you will see a list of Report Lines. Select a line to see the Financial Categories mapped to that line (top-middle).

The "Available" section will show you any Financial Categories NOT USED on the report. You should map these to their appropriate group on the left. 

To map Available Financial Categories

1. Select the Group on the left
2. Select the Available Financial Category
3. Click the green "+" button

This will attach it to the group you selected from the left and remove it from the Available section.
