Location level:
For the date parameters selected, if mix machine data exists, your Paint Materials will be split into 3 categories: "Paint Materials - NonLiquid", "Paint Materials - Liquid", "Paint Materials".

Folder level:

If mix machine data exists, your Paint Materials will be split into 2 categories:"Paint Materials - NonLiquid", "Paint Materials - Liquid".

  • Paint Materials Liquid: For folders with mix machine data, the cost is pulled from mix machine and GP % is calculated by dividing GP Amount by Sales.
  • Paint Materials NonLiquid: For folders with mix machine data, the GP % will always equal the expected GP% set up under the Location Profile.  The GP amount and cost are assigned using this %.
  • Paint Materials: For folders without mix machine data, the GP % will always equal the expected GP% set up under the Location Profile.  The GP amount and cost are assigned using this %.

While at the location level, double-click any of the Paint Materials lines (the list will be the same) and you will see the Paint Materials GP Amount for each Folder within that date range.

Note:  For Folders with mixing machine data, this is an average of Paint Materials Liquid (actual Cost) and Paint Materials Non-Liquid (Expected GP %). For Folders without mixing machine data, this is the Expected GP% set up under the Location Profile.

Folder Print Screen - Paint Materials Cost Report

If the Folder is receiving mix machine data, a report called Paint Materials Cost will be available to print in the Folder Print screen under Folder Reports.

The report will show Paint Materials costs for that Folder.

You can also display this report directly from the GP Analyzer screen by right-clicking over a Folder and selecting "Print Mixing Machine Data".

For folders with no mixing machine data, you will receive a message if you try to display the report. Note: you can tell which folders do not have mixing machine data because the GP% = the Expected GP% for Paint Materials.
