Overview

**New stages will only automatically show on Folders created after you have added the new stage (and updated your default Repair Plan Template). You will need to manually add the stage into the Repair Plan of WIP vehicles**

Transaction Permission: Repair Plan Stage Setup is required

Open System / Setup / Production / Stages/Quality Control

Note your current stages are anything with a "YES" under "Status Col?"

It is important to also note the Sequence # of each stage. The stages will sequence in numerical order so this will determine what sequence # you assign your new stage. For instance, if I want my new status to fall between Body (Seq:70) and Mechanical (Seq: 90), I will set the sequence of my new stage as a # in between (ie. 80). Leaving gaps between the numbers allows you to go back and add additional stages in between.

Adding a New Repair Plan Stage

At the bottom of the screen, click the New button.

You will only need to set the fields in the sections encompassed in red below:

  -Code: Stage abbreviation

  -Stage: Stage Name

-Check the box for "Repair Plan Status"

-Assign a Sequence # (for more information, read above under the Overview section)

-Choose the status color and text color

Click Save.

Next, add the stage to a Repair Plan Template

Editing a Repair Plan Stage

To edit a stage, click select the stage and click the edit button on the button bar.

Note: you cannot edit the abbreviation "Code" of a stage. If you need to change an abbreviation code, you will need to inactivate a stage and add a new stage.
