Tasks in NexsyisNow

Users can now create and manage tasks in NexsyisNow. You can access this feature by selecting the icon in the top-right corner of the screen to launch into the Tasks tab of the Message Center.

Task List Overview

Upon loading the Task List, you will see any and all tasks assigned to you automatically sorted by priority and due date. You can add tasks here, and you can edit most task information by selecting the pencil icon next to the field. More features highlighted below:

  1. You can access other parts of the Message Center in Nexsyis by toggling between Team Messaging, Customer Messaging and Tasks.
  2. You can toggle Show All Tasks to display all tasks across all locations.
  3. Toggle between the To Do / High Priority / Overdue / Completed to view filtered task lists.
  4. Each column in the Task List can be filtered and sorted. Filter by an assignee while displaying all tasks to quickly see what is pending for a user.
  5. Select +Create New Task when you need to assign a new task to a user.
  6. Due dates are not required, but can be easily added/edited from the task list.
  7. Select the green check on the task line to complete the task.

To create a new task, select +Create New Task. Search and select a folder# if you are linking this task to a customer. Select an assignee if needed. Assign a task type as this will always be required. Enter a due date (if needed) and enter the task description. Enable the High Priority toggle if you want to flag the task as important. Select + Create Task to complete this process and send to the assignee.

Managing Tasks within the Folder

Tasks assigned to a folder# can be found within the folder on the left panel under Customer Messaging and above Appointments and the Repair Timeline. Up to three tasks will display, sorted by priority and due date. You can quickly select +New Task to create a new folder task or select View All to review all open tasks.

Once View All is selected, a Task List appears displaying all open tasks in the folder (regardless of assignee). The list functions the same as the task list in the Message Center and tasks can be completed/created/edited here.
