Technician Time Punch Corrections

If a technician is set up to use the Technician Time Clock, you will see an Edit button on his Punch Activity screen.

This will allow you to make time corrections tied to repair Stages / Stage Stop Reasons.

Correct a Technician's Time

Select the day and click the Edit button on the button bar

You will see the Punch Activity for that day.

The first column, "TC", indicates whether the punch was a timeclock punch (in/out of the timeclock), indicated by a "Y".  If a technician simply clocks out of a repair stage to switch jobs or clock to another repair stage, it will not be a timeclock punch. If he clocks out for lunch, break, end of day, etc., it would be a timeclock punch.

Use the bottom part of the screen to Add or Remove a punch

Use the right-side to edit a punch

Adding a punch

In this example, Scott forgot to clock into Folder 606460 when he arrived for the morning at 08:00AM.

1) Type in the Folder # and click the search button, select the Folder

2) Repair Plan steps on the Folder selected will load in the Repair Step drop-down. Select the stage, enter the time, and click Save.

It now shows that Scott clocked into the Chevy at 8:00AM (because the next punch is to another repair plan stage, it will automatically put the Stop Reason as "REASGN (Reassigned)".

The 9:53 punch should no longer be a timeclock punch because he simply switched to the Mustang at 9:53AM. Select the line and click the "Toggle Time Clock (TC)" button to remove the "Y" from the TC column.

His time now looks correct here:
