NexsyisNow Vehicle Check-In

The Vehicle Check-In feature allows you to digitally check a vehicle into the shop, ensuring that all customer and vehicle information is verified and documented. During check-in, you can confirm key details with the customer, scan the VIN, and answer pre-set questions based on the repair category.


Steps to Complete a Vehicle Check-In


1. Start the Check-In Process

  • From the Repair Timeline, select "Check-In".


2. Review Customer Information

  • Confirm that all customer information is correct.

  • Fill in any missing fields as needed before proceeding.


3. Verify Vehicle Information

  • Review the existing vehicle details.

  • To quickly populate VIN, Year, Make, and Model:

    • Click the barcode icon to open the VIN scanner.

    • Scan the VIN sticker to auto-fill the fields.

Options:

  • Click Finish to complete the check-in immediately.

  • Or, if additional pre-set questions are required based on the repair category, select Vehicle Check-In to load and complete them.


4. Complete Pre-Established Questions (If Applicable)

  • Pre-configured questions specific to the Repair Category will appear.

  • Review and answer these questions with the customer.

  • Click Confirm to finalize the process.

5. Finalize Check-In

Once the process is complete:

  • The Vehicle Check-In box on the Repair Timeline will be marked as completed.

  • All updated customer and vehicle information will automatically save in Nexsyis.

  • An e-Vehicle Check-In Sheet will be added to the documents tab of the folder for reference.
