Creating Nexsyis Estimate Tasks

To set up tasks to use when building Nexsyis estimates, there are a few steps to be completed before proceeding.

Estimate Task Setup

To create/edit an estimate task, navigate to Setup > Estimate Settings > Nexsyis Estimate Tasks. Select the +New button at the bottom to create a new task.

From the New Task screen, follow the steps below to create the estimate task:

  1. Enter an Estimate Task name. Task ID will auto-generate.
  2. Under Estimate Parts & Labor, select Click here to add a new row in order to add an estimate item.
  3. Repeat step 2 until all estimate items are added to the task.
  4. Under Repair Procedures, there is the option to add task instructions/steps tied to the estimate items. These will display on the estimate screen as well as the estimate print-out. You select Click here to add a new row and type as needed. Key TAB to create the row and key ENTER to add a new line within the row. There is a character limit of 900 characters, so users can add detailed instructions/notes per estimate task.
  5. Under Line Attributes, check any attribute(s) you want to associate with the task. Attributes allow the user to filter the task list when building the estimate.

NOTE: All changes made to an estimate task will be auto-saved.

Using Templates in a Folder

On any folder’s Estimates tab, choose New Nexsyis Estimate. Within the New Estimate screen, you can add your tasks or items to build your estimate using the list to the right of the estimate, and all configured items (with current pricing) are added instantly. For step‑by‑step instructions, see Nexsyis Estimates
