Converting to CCC Secure Share Estimate Imports

Activating Secure Share in CCC

Follow these instructions to enable Nexsyis in Secure Share: How to Enable Apps for Secure Share – CCC Knowledge Base

Once this is done, email nexsupport@nexsyis.com to notify Nexsyis support so that we may complete the setup in the Nexsyis application.

The following instructions are for NEW estimates, after Secure Share has been activated. For supplements on estimates imported prior to the switch, users will still need to "EMS Export" from CCC and manually click the "Re-import Estimate" button in Nexsyis.

The "Type" column will show "EMS" for estimates brought in through EMS Export, and "BMS" for estimates imported through Secure Share.

Sending Estimate files via Secure Share

1. In CCC, click the "Save" button on the estimate. This will trigger CCC to automatically send the estimate to Nexsyis via CCC Secure Share. You do NOT need to click "EMS Export" in CCC.

Important Note: CCC will only send the file to Nexsyis if it detects a change. If you did not make any changes to the estimate file prior to saving, it will probably not show in the list in Nexsyis to import. Try step #2 below to force send it to Nexsyis.

2. If you still do not see the updated estimate in Nexsyis, you can try to force-send by selecting "Secure Share"

And then selecting "Nexsyis" and clicking "Send"

Importing New Estimates into Nexsyis

On the Import Estimate screen, the path search box will no longer show. Estimates saved in CCC will automatically show on the import screen. Users do not need to browse to a path.

Supplements

There are three company-wide preference setting options available for importing supplements

1. Do not automatically import any supplements into Nexsyis. After saving the estimate in CCC, users will continue to click the "Re-import Estimate" button in Nexsyis to import the supplement.

2. Automatically import locked supplements into Nexsyis. Nexsyis will automatically re-import any locked supplements saved in CCC.

3. Automatically import all supplements into Nexsyis. Nexsyis will automatically re-import all supplements saved in CCC.

On options #2 and #3, users will no longer need to click "Re-import Estimate" in Nexsyis. Check the “LastUpdate” column for the most recent update, which should occur within seconds of clicking Save in CCC. Nexsyis will only reimport an estimate if it detects a change. If not updated, make a small change to the estimate in CCC and click “Save” again.
