Creating EMS Export/Import Folders in Windows
The instructions below include two methods for creating the Windows folders C:\NexEMS\Export & C:\NexEMS\Import, as these are the default paths for most new Nexsyis customers.
Once these paths are created, please refer to the following help documents for adding these paths to your estimating systems:

Creating EMS folders Method 1:
Click on the Windows Explorer (Folder) icon on your taskbar
In Windows Explorer, you may see the C: drive on the left menu or in the right content pane. Double-click on either one to open your C drive.
Click the "New folder" icon in the top menu bar.
Enter NexEMS as the folder name and hit Enter
Double-click the new NexEMS folder to open it, then create the Export and Import folders using the same process.
Creating EMS folders Method 2:
Right-click on the Windows start menu and choose "Run".
In the Run box enter cmd and click OK
When the command prompt window opens, type the following command: md C:\NexEMS\Export
Then hit Enter
Do the same for the Import path: md C:\NexEMS\Import
Then hit enter
The folders should now be created. Open up your C drive to verify:
