Hold from Deposit

 

Tutorial:

 

16 STEPS

1. Click Deposits

2. Click Make A Deposit

3. Confirm you have the correct location(s) selected.
Click Berkland (BERK)

4. Open the dropdown to select a bank.

5. Click Wells Fargo - WFB

6. On the left side of the screen there are a list of items that are Available For Deposit.
Click the Green Arrow to move the items you need to deposit to the right side of the screen.

9. The Grey Line indicates that this payment is held from deposit.
You can remove the hold by right clicking the line.

10. Click Details

11. The Payment will open.
Uncheck the Hold from Deposit Box

12. Click Save

13. The line is now available for deposit. Click ARROW

14. All items that will be deposited are now on the right side of the screen. Confirm that these are the payments you wish to deposit.
You can use the Arrow at the top of the lines to move items out of the deposit list.

15. Click Save to complete the deposit.

16. Use the icons at the bottom of the screen to Save the document to your desktop, exit, email or print the deposit slip.
The deposit is now complete.

Create a New Cash/Check Deposit

Open Accounting /Make Deposits / Make a Deposit


The Deposit Date defaults to the current day. Select the Bank you are depositing to. It is important that you change the Deposit Date if it is different from the current Day. The Reference Number also must be entered correctly in the Ref No box.

All items eligible for deposit will show:

                Green lines: Check or Cash Payments

                Light blue lines: Refunds

                   Yellow lines: Non-AR Payments

                Grey lines: Checks or Cash marked as “Hold for Deposit”

 

Match the number of lines against the number of checks for deposit to make sure that you have entered them all. Verify that the totals match.

 

If you do not wish to deposit an item on the right, double-click the line or select the line and then the green back arrow to move it from the “Deposit These Items” section to the left “Available For Deposit” section. These items will be available for your next deposit.

 

To add any of the grey lines to the deposit, select the line and click the blue Details button at the bottom of the screen.

 

The payment will open. Uncheck the Hold from Deposit box.

 

 

Move the now green line to the right to add to the deposit by double-clicking it or selecting the green forward arrow.

 

Once everything is correct, click Save.

 

 

The Deposit Slip will print.

 

View Deposits

You can view deposits by opening Accounting/Make a Deposit/View Deposits List

Enter your search parameters and refresh the screen.
