Entering a Payment for a Credit Memo from a Vendor
If you get a receive a refund, rebate, commission payment, interest check, etc. from a vendor you will enter it in Nexsyis as a Non-AR Payment.
Note: if you paid by check but you received a payment back to your debit card, follow this process
Creating a Non-AR Payment
Open Accounting > Banking/Cash > Non-AR Payments. Click New.
Select the type of payment to the left and fill in the Check No/Ref, Amount, and the payer at the top of the screen.
Click the Add button to insert a new line. Key in the Amount and select the Reason, FinCat, and Allocation location.
You can insert multiple lines if the check is for multiple items. When the Total balances with the Check Amount you entered at the top, click Save.
Now you can open Accounting > Make Deposits > Make a Deposit and the line you just entered will show in yellow under Deposit Items.

Settings / Setup / Accounting / Accounts Receivable / Adjustment Reasons
Select Non AR Payments as the Reason Type
