Capture Analysis
FAQ
What is the difference between the Estimate Capture Analysis and the Folder Capture Analysis Reports?
In Nexsyis, a Folder can be created without an estimate and a Folder can also contain more than one estimate. These estimates can also have different statuses (i.e. Active or Inactive).
So the Folder Capture Analysis reports by Folder (either no estimate or estimates are grouped) and the Estimate Capture Analysis reports by Estimate.
How do you remove a Work Order to reflect a disposition of "None"?
Work Orders are automatically deleted when the estimate is marked as inactive or removed from the Folder.
Report Language:
Dispositions:
- LOST: Folder has been marked as a Lost Opportunity
- NONE: No Work Order exists
- REP: Has a Work Order
- TOTAL: Has been marked as a Total Loss
Opportunities: Total # of Folders Created or Estimates Imported
Repairs: Of the total #of Opportunities, # that have a Work Order
Totals: Of the total #of Opportunities, # that have been marked as a Total Loss
Scenario Examples
Scenario 1: What if we create an estimate/Folder in June but create the work order in July. Does it update June's data or move it to July?
It will update June's data from "Opportunity" to "Repair"
Scenario 2: What happens if we create an estimate in June but mark it as a loss opportunity in July? Does it update June or move to July?
It will update June's report. The disposition will change from None or Rep to LOST.
Scenario 3: What happens when a Folder is marked as a Total Loss and the estimate is left active?
The Folder Disposition will show as a Total. The $ amount of the estimate will be invoiced when you deliver the vehicle, or invoice the estimate.
Scenario 4: What happens when a Folder is marked as a Total Loss and the estimate is made inactive?
The Folder will not show on the report. The logic here is that you never had a chance to repair a Total Loss so it will not be considered as a potential loss of money.
Folder has been created, no estimate exists:
Estimate has been imported, no work order exists:
A Work Order has been created:
After a Work Order has been created, Esimate is marked as Inactive:
How are Totals considered in the capture rate?
While Totals are not considered "Captured," they also do not negatively impact the capture rate since they are excluded from Opportunities. The formula for Capture % is:
