Resetting an Employee Time Clock Password

Note: resetting an employee's password will automatically set it equal to the employee's ID#. 

 

If an employee forgets his/her password, corporate personnel may re-set it in the Punch Activity screen. To perform a password reset, you must have the necessary permissions. If you are an employee trying to change your own password, you may do this from the Timeclock application.

Under the Payroll tab, select Employee Time. Search for the employee and double-click on any period end date. 

At the bottom of the Punch Activity screen is a Reset Password button.

Click this button and then click Yes to the prompt asking if you are sure you would like to reset the password to the employee PYMasterID. A dialogue box will then appear saying the password has been changed to his/her PYMasterID.

The employee should log in with his/her PYMasterID and immediately change it in the Timeclock application to something he/she can easily remember.
