Folder Search

Open the Folders screen and search for the Folder to make sure it is not already in Nexsyis. If your search produces no results, click the New  button on the button bar

Mandatory fields are in bold. Once these fields are entered, the save button will activate:

Header: Location (this will default to the Operator's default location)

Customer|Insurance tab: Customer name (or Company name), Primary Phone 

Vehicle tab: Vehicle Year, Make, Model (you may choose "unknown" as options)

Create a New Folder

1) Returning customer 

    a) Customer| Insurance tab: Populate a returning customer's information by typing the last name (and optionally, the first name) and hitting the "Enter" key or clicking the magnifying glass. Prior customer names matching the search will populate on the right side. Simply double-click on the record to populate the fields on the left. Information can be updated as needed. 

    b) Vehicle tab: Click over to the vehicle tab.  If you chose a returning customer, prior vehicles will show on the right. Double-click on the record to populate the fields on the left. Information can be updated as needed. 

 

 

Note: if you choose "Fleet", the radio-button for "Company" will be automatically selected and the Fleet contact information will auto-populate. On the Vehicle tab, any prior vehicles assigned to that Fleet will be shown to be choose from on the right. 

 

2) Create a New Customer

Fill in the mandatory fields on the Customer|Insurance and Vehicle tab and click Save. 

3) Create from an EMS file

    a. Click the "Import EMS" button. Browse to your EMS file and click the green check mark

   

b. The information from the estimate will populate into the fields. Check the Customer|Insurance tab and the Vehicle tab for accuracy and then click Save.
