Quality Control

Quality Control in Nexsyis is implemented through the repair plan screen. QC items can be completed on the desktop application or in NexsyisNow. All QC questions are customizable and can have photos attached to them.

Adding Photos to Quality Control

Overview

QC items can be added by the Repair Stage. See the document Quality Control Setup for more information on setting up your QC items. 

 

A Repair Stage will not end until all QC items on that stage are marked as Completed or Not Applicable. 

Note: if you do not want this requirement to be met, we recommend setting up a Final Stage called Quality Control that contains all of your QC items, instead of breaking them down by department. 

 

Once QC items have been set up, you will see # of items completed out of the total # of items for that Stage under the QC column on the Repair Plan screen:

 

On the Folder, you can see how many questions are still outstanding by the Quality Control button. Click the button to launch the Quality Control form.

 

Note: a Quality Control form will automatically be created with your Default Repair Stage Template when you create the Folder. If you plan on changing your Template, you should do so BEFORE you begin filling out the QC form. The QC form will be deleted if you change your Template and a new form will have to be filled out. 

 

Completing QC

For each QC item, select "Completed" or "Not Applicable". Your USERID and Response Date will populate for the line. Once you've entered responses, click the save button on the button bar.

If you try to close the screen and you have not saved, you will be prompted to save your changes. Click "Yes". 

 

 

Attaching Photos

If the Attach Photo Icon shows a RED background, a photo is required. 

If your response is "Completed", until a photo is uploaded, it will not consider the question to be completed.

You do not have to attach a photo if your response is "Not Applicable". 

 

Click the Attach photo icon to link a photo

 

 

Once a photo is attached, it will show an image icon under "View Photos" column and the Photos Required background will turn green

 

 

Record QC Notes

Launch the Quality Control form from the Folder. At the top of the QC form, click the Show/Hide Notes button. A Notes section will show on the screen. Type your note into the blank note line and click outside the line when done. Your note will automatically be saved. 

 

Record additional QC notes as needed. 

View History

Nexsyis will keep an audit history of any response changes. 

To view, right-click over the grid and select "View Audit Log"

 

You can also launch it from the top of the QC form, by clicking the Show/Hide History button. A History section will show at the bottom of the screen with the audit log of any field changes.

Audit QC Report

To Audit a QC report, click the Audit Report button at the top of the QC Form. This will show the Audit Response / Date Audited / and Audited By columns. 

You can Audit any QC item that has a response. 

Choose Pass or Fail for each QC item. Changes will automatically be saved. 

 

Note: if an Audit has any Fail responses, it will show as "Fail" on the Quality Control screen:

 

QC Reporting

Under the Operations tab / Analytics group, select Quality Control

This will open the Quality Control screen, defaulting to any Folders that have Arrived this month. You can adjust your filters at the top of the screen.

The grid will show the the QC status for each Folder -- how many items have been completed, the date of the last QC, how many QC items have been audited (if all audit responses are "Pass", "Pass" will show in the grid. If any responses are "Fail", "Fail" will show in the grid) and the Audit user and date. 

 

You can print the QC Report for a Folder by selecting the line and clicking the Print button at the bottom of the screen. This Quality Control report can also be printed from the Folder Print screen.
