Setting Up Holidays
Open Setup > Company > Holidays
- Select the New Icon at the bottom of the screen to create a new holiday.
NOTE: You must select "National Holiday".
If you also select "Working Day", then it will not remove this date from your scheduling/production/etc.
The "Bank Holiday" is used for payroll. It should always be checked if you are recording an actual holiday like Thanksgiving that banks will be closed. If the bank holiday occurs on your payroll date, it will warn the user processing payroll to select another date.
TIP: Projected Sales
Nexsyis uses Holidays to calculate working days for Cycle Time, the Target Date Calculator, Scheduling, and Projected Sales.
For example: The number of work days in the projected sales screen are calculated by using the number of work days in the period minus the number of Holidays set up.
