Follow Up Templates
Overview
If you create a folder and select a template, it will create the Follow Up definition immediately per the Template setup (a Default template can be indicated on the Follow Up Templates setup screen).
The Customer Communication method that will be used follows this logic:
- If cell is found then text (must select "Allow Text")
- If no cell, then e-mail
- If no e-mail, then primary phone
If the selected template is set as Arrival Date, no pending notification will be scheduled. Once the folder is marked as arrived, the follow up definition will begin executing at that point and create the first pending notification.
If the template is set as Create Date, the first pending notification will be created at that time.
Create New Follow Up Template
Open Setup / Folder / Follow Up Templates
1. Leave the drop-down as <Create new>
2. Enter a name
3. The box checked as "Company Default" will be automatically populated on the Create New Folder screen (shown above). You can only have one comany default.
4. Choose the follow up interval - Every "x" Week Days, or on Specific Days.
5. Date to Begin: If the selected template is set as Arrival Date, no pending notification will be scheduled. Once the folder is marked as arrived, the follow up definition will begin executing at that point and create the first pending notification. If the template is sat as Created Date, the first pending notification will be created when the new Folder is saved.
