Custom Columns in the Vehicle Center

Sixteen columns are available to be customized in the Vehicle Center screen (H1-H8 and F1-F8).

H1-H8 are custom flag columns where the user can toggle the column on to show a 2-3 letter code with a red background.

F1-F8 are free form columns (similar to the Action column) where the user can type in any free form text.

Custom Columns Setup

Transaction Permission: Production Setup is required

Open Settings / Setup / Production / Custom Columns 

If any columns are set up they will show a custom column caption and description. Otherwise they will have a generic name of H1-H8 or F1-F8.

Double-click on the generic H or F code to customize. Type in the Column Caption field to name the Header and the Customized Caption field to include additional details when a user hovers. Click Update to save. 

To customize, double-click the row and change the Column Caption (abbreviation) and Customization Caption and click "Update".

The column will now be available to choose from the Column Chooser in Vehicle Center.

Adding the Custom Flag Column to your Vehicle Center Grid

Once the column has been customized, you can select it by right-clicking over the header row in vehicle center and selecting "Column Chooser". Find the abbreviation of your custom column and double-click to insert.
