Technician Labor Allocation Resource Drop - Down Setup

On the Work Order Allocation screen, the resource drop down list displays a default list of resources based on the location and labor type selected.

 

Set the employee as a Resource


To populate the Resource drop-down on the Labor Allocation screen follow these steps: 

1) On the Payroll tab, click Pay Rates

 

2. Search for the Employee and select. Then select the active pay rate record. If the rate record has not been entered, follow these steps: Employee Pay Rates

 

3. Check the box next to their name in the Resource section

 

4. Select a Reason, i.e. "Correction" and Save

Ensure that the employee's Job Code has default Labor Rates set

1. On the Payroll tab, select Job Codes. Select the Job and double click to open the Job Type

 

2. On the Job Code screen under "labor defaults", select the check the boxes for the Sales Codes that will apply for the Job Code. Now any employee that is assigned to that job code will show up as a resource in the default drop down list for the designated sales code.
