Create a New Operator from an existing Operator

The simpliest way to create a new operator is by copying an existing operator with the same job. This will carry over all of the permissions of the operator you choose.

 

1. Open Setup / Operator Permissions / By Operator

2. Click the Search icon button to show all Operators

3. Click once on the line of the employee whose permissions you wish to copy to highlight him/her in the grid

4. Click the "Create New From Selected" button at the bottom right

 

 

5. Select the Employee from the list at the top (See this help document on setting up new employees New Employee Setup (Non-Payroll Customers)

6. Add or remove any permissions as desired or select a Template from the dropdown. If the new employee works out of a different location, make this change in the Locations tab

7. Click Save

 

 

8. The employee can now log in using the Login ID shown. The first time they log in, they should leave the password blank and follow the prompts to create a new password.
