Open Settings / Setup / Production / Repair Plan Templates
At the bottom of the screen, click New
- Name the template.
NOTE: It is important to set up a Generic or Default template, indicated by checking the "Use the Template as Company Default". This should be the template used for the majority of repairs. See more on this below.
-Move the repair plan steps you would like to include in the template from the left to the right grid using the right arrow button. The steps can also be re-ordered using the up/down buttons on the far-right of the screen. When finished, click Save.
Your templates will be available to be selected from the Templates drop-down on the Repair Plan screen:
You can now override the default Repair Plan template by location.
Setting the "Default" Template for your Company OR Location
You will use the "Use This Template as Company Default" checkbox to set which template is used when Folders are created. You can choose to override this for an individual Location under Setup / Company / Location / Profile tab. If an override template is set on the Location setup, it will be chosen for the Repair Plan for any Folders assigned to that Location, otherwise the Repair Plan will default to the Company default.
