Creating a Work Order
You will create a Work Order in the Folder once you're ready to do the work. The Work Order will populate with all Parts & Labor lines from the estimate(s) and should be given to the technicians.
You can create a Work Order in two ways:
-
From the Folder, click the Work Order button, then click Yes.
2. Click the Vehicle Center button the top right of your screen, then click the In Process tab.
Click Yes.
Once you've created the Work Order, open it and apply any necessary conversions to reflect how you will actually perform the work.
Creating the Work Order will populate the Purchases Assistant with white, Not Ordered lines and the Labor Allocation screen with hours to be allocated.
