Permission Required
You will need Screen Permission "Resource Unavailable Time" to modify this setup
Open the Resource Unavailable Time Setup Screen
You can set up Resource Unavailable Time under Setup / Scheduling / Resource Unavailable.
At the top of the screen, select the Resource and click the Refresh button
Any Unavailable Time currently set up for that resource will show
Add New Unavailable Time
1. At the bottom of the screen, click the green plus button to add a new record.
2. Select the Location from the "<All>" drop-down. *This will show the Unavailable Time in the selected location's Schedule Book screen. If you do not select a location, it will not show.*
3. Key in the Reason. This will show in the Notes column of the Schedule Book screen.
4. Set the date(s) and times. If the appointment is recurring at the same time every day, ie. "Lunch", then check the "Recurring" checkbox. This will remove the date selections and you will only specify the times.
5. Once you have completed steps 1-4, click Save to set the record
Remove Unavailable Time
1. From the top of the screen select the line you would like to remove.
2. At the bottom of the screen, click the red minus button to remove the unavailable time record for that resource.
3. Click Save
Edit Resource Unavailable Time
If you need to edit the Unavailable time setup, for example, if the resource moves to a new location, simply
1. open the Resource Unavailable Setup screen
2. Select the line at the top
3. Make your changes at the bottom
4. Click the Save button
5. Repeat for any other recurring or upcoming unavailble times
